Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' physical therapy needs, focusing on orthopedic diagnoses ranging from post-surgical recovery to chronic musculoskeletal pain.
• Create, document, and modify personalized treatment plans based on patient evaluations and progress, ensuring alignment with established goals and therapeutic outcomes.
• Monitor and record patients' progress throughout the course of treatment, making necessary adjustments to approaches when needed to enhance recovery.
• Educate patients and their families on treatment protocols, preventative measures, and techniques that promote long-term wellness and pain management.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to recommend appropriate medical equipment and assistive devices that aid in patient mobility.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work primarily with post-operative orthopedic patients and individuals experiencing various musculoskeletal disorders. Our patient population ranges from athletes recovering from injuries to elderly patients dealing with age-related mobility issues. You will have the opportunity to develop tailored therapeutic interventions that address specific needs, supporting patients at every stage of the healing process.

Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• An active state physical therapy license is required to practice in Florida.
• A minimum of three years of clinical experience as a physical therapist, specifically in an orthopedic setting.
• Demonstrated expertise in diagnosing and treating musculoskeletal conditions, along with a proven track record of developing effective rehabilitation programs.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and multidisciplinary team members.

Preferred Experience

• Experience using advanced therapeutic modalities, such as ultrasound therapy, electrical stimulation, and manual therapy techniques.
• Familiarity with patient management software and electronic health records to streamline documentation and maintain accurate patient records.
• Prior involvement in collaborative team environments, showcasing the ability to work well under pressure and adapt to high-volume patient caseloads.

Compensation and Benefits
