Intermountain Health is seeking a Mobile Phlebotomy professional to provide patient-centered blood collection services in homes and community settings. In this role, you will perform venipuncture and specimen processing, verify patient identity, maintain accurate electronic records, and ensure safe transport of samples to the lab. You’ll work independently in the field while collaborating closely with clinical teams, following strict safety and infection-control protocols. This position supports our mission to deliver high-quality, affordable care and improve community health across the region.
Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collection in homes and community settings
Verify patient identity and obtain required consents and documentation
Label, process, and prepare specimens for transport according to lab protocols
Maintain accurate electronic health records and collection logs
Follow infection-control, safety, and quality-assurance procedures at all times
Safely transport specimens to designated laboratories within required timeframes
Communicate professionally with patients, caregivers, and clinical teams
Manage daily routes, schedules, and supplies for mobile visits
Inspect and maintain mobile phlebotomy equipment and vehicles
