Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive examinations of patients presenting with functional limitations and disabilities, evaluating their physical capabilities and developing tailored treatment plans to restore mobility.
• Utilize understanding of state practice acts to ensure compliance with legal guidelines while supervising and educating support staff.
• Perform detailed evaluations, including reviewing patient histories, conducting specific assessments, and documenting results to inform treatment adjustments.
• Implement effective treatment protocols by employing a range of therapeutic modalities and techniques based on the evolving needs of the patient and healthcare environment.
• Consult with interdisciplinary healthcare professionals when necessary; monitor and document changes in patients' conditions to modify care plans proactively.
• Lead discharge planning by ensuring appropriate follow-up care and accurately documenting patient progress and outcomes at each step of the treatment journey.
• Complete required training to maintain compliance with corporate, clinical, state, and federal regulations, ensuring adherence to best practices in patient care.
• Deliver high-quality care while maximizing departmental productivity by effectively managing your treatment schedule.
• Participate in relevant meetings and conferences, contributing to ongoing discussions on enhancing patient access and care initiatives.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Physical Therapist at Mobility Works, you will work with a diverse patient population that includes individuals recovering from surgeries, injuries, chronic illnesses, and other physical limitations. Your expertise will directly impact their recovery trajectory, enabling patients to achieve functional independence and improved quality of life.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution, demonstrating a foundation in evidence-based practice.
• A valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Florida.
• A minimum of two years of experience in physical therapy, working with a range of patient demographics and clinical scenarios.
• Current CPR certification, ensuring readiness for emergency situations.
• Strong interpersonal skills for engaging effectively with patients and building rapport rapidly.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in utilizing digital health solutions or applications related to personal training or rehabilitation, enhancing overall patient engagement and outcomes.
• Previous exposure to collaborative healthcare settings that foster interdisciplinary communication and teamwork.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this full-time Physical Therapist role ranges from USD 100,000 to USD 120,000 annually, complemented by an attractive benefits package. Benefits include:
