Company History
Full Swing Simulators revolutionized the golf simulator in 1986 and now is the largest US-based producer of multi-sport simulators.
Full Swing was founded in 1986 by Floyd Arnold. Selling other golf simulator brands at the time, Floyd saw the need for a more accurate and durable simulator than what was available. Using his life savings and years of work, Floyd created what is now our Patented Dual Tracking Technology. The first Full Swing simulator was sold in June 1991. That year, Full Swing sold six simulators. To this day, our first tracking systems, built in 1991, are still in use at the Bunker Indoor Golf Center in Minnetonka, Minnesota.
In 2015, thirty years later, Ryan Dotters became CEO of the company while simultaneously signing a partnership with the largest name in golf, Tiger Woods. Ryan led the acquisition of Virtual Green in March of 2015 and the partnership agreement with Alisports, a subsidiary company of the Alibaba Group, the largest online and mobile commerce company in the world, in July of 2016. From 2015 to 2017, Full Swing has seen its largest growth and success. Now with three different simulator models, Full Swing is being used in the homes of Tour Pros including Tiger Woods, Jordan Spieth, Jason Day, Padraig Harrington, and more.
