Company Overview
The University of Maryland's Center for Advanced Transportation Technology Laboratory (CATT Lab) supports National, State, and local efforts to provide safe and efficient transportation systems through improved operations and management by means of research and development, technology implementation, training and education. The CATT Lab's research and development activities provide a bridge between the intelligent transportation systems (ITS) community, the information technology community, and other disciplines essential to the successful application of ITS. Company History
The CATT Lab was started in 2002 under the direction of Mr. Michael L. Pack. What started out as a three-student operation has now grown into a 50+ graduate and undergraduate student research laboratory with 5 full-time developers. The CATT Lab continues to grow each year and has recently been featured on the History Channel's Modern Marvels, National Public Radio's All Things Considered, CNN American Morning, and countless other print and on-line publications.
