What YOU Do:

As a design consultant, you will sell the benefits of our start-to-finish design services to new clients within both residential and commercial markets, as well as referrals received from our other Star Companies divisions. Utilizing materials and resources from throughout the Star Companies, you will develop custom designs to meet the needs of each client, while establishing long-term relationships and an opportunity to generate future sales.

Your Background Profile:

• Experience: 4-6 years of interior design experience, particularly with kitchen, bath, and media room design o Ability to accurately measure client spaces and produce detailed estimates for project scope of work
  • Experience with large scale projects and flooring
  • Sales experience required
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design or related field required
• Time Management: Ability to effectively meet deadlines
• Computer Skills: Proficiency in all MS Office applications, with an emphasis on Excel required.
  • Basic proficiency with SketchUp, 20/20 technical skills.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems (Sales Force, Freshsales) and invoicing systems
  • Ability to learn new technologies
• Relationship Building: Demonstrated ability to deliver an excellent customer experience, excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills. o          Extremely detail oriented and organized
  • Willingness to travel locally to customer sites as needed
