The Employment Development Department is hiring multiple IT Specialists to fill critical vacancies in our Information Technology Branch (ITB)!

Our dynamic and innovative ITB team is looking for IT professionals who want to enhance the State’s economic growth and prosperity by delivering valuable services, improving and delivering technical applications and online services to our customers throughout the State of California. We are seeking exceptional team members to join our technical experts at the forefront of the Department’s infrastructure, governance, system/cybersecurity, and fraud detection/mitigation efforts. These positions are part of an exciting new multi-year Departmentwide effort to create and implement enterprise resilience, for now and for the future.

We need motivated IT experts with knowledge of cybersecurity, governance, and cloud architect industry standards, frameworks and regulations, and demonstrated experience in creatively and collaboratively implementing IT best practices across an enterprise. A strong and diverse background in IT security management/mitigation, data sensitivity, cloud architecture and confidentiality are keys to success. With nine positions to fill, we are excited to launch this effort with great talent!
